The 100% FREE Gamefowl

and Poultry Auction Is Here!

Here at Gamefowlfacts.org, we have the ongoing goal of offering a full-featured community. As the site grows, and the need for more features is seen, these features will be added when possible. We feel that the community is gradually developing into a community which can fulfill nearly all of our user's gamefowl related needs.

Currently we offer a blog to provide our members with thought provoking articles, a forum to allow our members to socialize and share thoughts and ideas. The wiki offers the opportunity for users to create their own gamefowl encyclopedia for others to read and learn from. We now see the need for an online auction to allow users the opportunity to buy and sell gamefowl, poultry, and related items.

This online auction will, until further notice, be completely free of charge. Featured auctions, highlighted auction titles, user stores, image uploading (4 max per), media files, and other such enhanced features will be offered free of charge as well. In the event that the decision is ever made to charge for any features of the auction, a minimum 3 month notice will be given. The purpose for this completely free auction is two-fold.

First, until the user count reaches adequate levels, there is the possibility that auctions may not receive any bids. If the seller has no fees to pay either way, he or she can afford to give our auction a chance. This, of course helps us, as we need sellers in order to have an auction.

The second reason is that we want to reinforce to the community that profit is not the reason for the creation of this site. The only profit that is sought by the site owner is to gain friends and see the gamefowl industry benefit in some way.

Extra Incentive

An extra incentive will be offered to encourage sellers to use the services of this auction in the form of the Gamefowlfacts preferred seller program.

This program will offer the following benefits:

A - Once a seller's feedback five-star rating reaches 5, that seller will have the opportunity to have a banner posted on the auction site for the period of one week free of charge. This reward will be repeated every time an additional 5 five-star feedback points are received. For example, a seller will receive a free week of banner placement when his five-star feedback rating reaches 5, again when it reaches 10, again at 15 et cetera.

B - Once a seller's five-star feedback rating reaches 30, that seller will be considered a Gamefowlfacts preferred seller. At that point, that seller will be permitted to post this status on his or her banner, website, classified ads et cetera. This will prove to be of great benefit, as buyers actively seek out a reputable person to deal with. In addition, once a seller gains preferred status he or she will be offered 90 days of banner placement on the auction site at no charge.

C - In the event that a preferred seller receives more than one negative (less than 3 stars) feedback within a 30 day period, and has not satisfactorily remedied the situation within 14 days, preferred seller status will be revoked and will not be regained until the seller has added 30 more points to his or her feedback rating. In order for the dispute to be considered resolved, the party who left the negative feedback must verify, with a member of site administration, that it has been resolved.

Zero Tolerance

Both buyers and sellers can feel secure in the use of this auction due to our zero-tolerance policy of dishonest or fraudulent transactions.

In the event that a seller fails to provide the item once he or she has been paid, the seller will be given 3 days to either give a refund, provide proof in the form of a tracking number that the item has been shipped, or provide proof that an alternate, satisfactory arrangement has been made with the buyer.

In the case of a misrepresented item, the seller will be given three days to provide a refund, provide proof that an alternate, satisfactory arrangement has been made with the buyer, or provide proof that the correct item has been shipped. In the event that the seller wishes to have the first item shipped returned, the buyer is obligated to return the item at the seller's expense, if the buyer has disposed of the item the seller is not obligated to provide a replacement. In the case of misrepresented items, the buyer should be willing and able to prove to site administration that the item was not as advertised.

In the event that a seller does not rectify the situation within the allotted time frame, the seller will have his or her account closed and will have his or her name and city/state of residence posted as a banned seller. In the event that a bidder wins an auction and upon receiving payment instructions realizes that they are dealing with a banned user who has rejoined the site under a different user name, the bidder will not be obligated to complete the transaction.

In the event that a winning bidder does not submit payment within the specified time frame, he or she will be given 3 days to provide payment. If payment is not remitted within the 3 day period, the seller should leave appropriate feedback labeling the user as a non-paying bidder.

In the event that a user is labeled as a non-paying bidder more than once within any 12 month period, the user will be banned. Once a bidder is banned, the only way he or she will be permitted to reinstate the account is to pay the seller 10% of the winning bid amount for damages in most cases. In the case of perishable items, such as hatching eggs, the user will not be allowed to have his or her account reinstated until the entire winning bid amount is paid to the seller.

Sincerely,

All of us at Gamefowlfacts.org
